Israel - more Gamla

I was thrilled to finally see a hyrax, or in King James, a coney! A lot like a groundhog, but not as shy.

The remains of the Gamla synagogue, the only one excavated that they think Jesus would have worshipped at.

Remains of the wall protecting the village, with the base of a tower at the bottom.

So many people lived there that the excavators can't possibly use all the pottery remains, so there's a pile of discards - Charlie found a handle.

The good, the bad and the ugly - recycling bins are everywhere but so is Nestles advertising.
