A trip to the ER

Sorry, no photos of the event.  The mother was too flustered.  Beth had a fall today when she was about to come home from her day program.  She thought she was backing onto the van lift to be let down, but the lift was already down, so she fell backwards in her chair onto the lift on the ground.  And miraculously she is fine!  They did a CT scan and other xrays, and other than a sore head she seems very good.  We have to thank those chair people, and the folks at her program, and all the people at the ER, and all our dear ones who prayed for her.  The mother made a spectacle of herself at the ER with over the top weeping as we waited for the van to arrive - somehow we beat them to the hospital.  My   Her only excuse was that we had no particulars about what had happened except that she fell off the lift.  We dashed off in the car and then had no phone numbers to reach the school and get more details.
Now here's a sweet detail - Charlie Anderson happened to be at the hospital visiting his aunt, and was just leaving as we arrived to wait for Beth.  So he was there to comfort us and Beth when she arrived - an extra blessing.
