Emergency!

Or so the sign said that was put up by the back door of the church this morning.  The forklift for the central food bank in Waynesburg broke down, so the food for the 100 families we serve was not delivered today.

After many phone calls Lucy had to close things up and leave a sign for folks to come back next Wednesday.

The food bank workers had to put all the boxes and bags away till next week.

Do you see what I see?

Did you know Doris and Charley Barno are going to have their first great grandchild this summer?!  Charley made this cradle many years ago for his grandchildren.  Doris made the yellow baby blanket, and Erin's baby will be the first to use it.
Yes indeed, this is Jeremy Kuharcik, the first grandchild, in the cradle.

And here's the list of all the kids that have used the cradle so far.
"Children’s children are a crown to the aged, and parents are the pride of their children."  Proverbs 17:6
