Bryn Athyn

...that's my home town, and we were there for a few day for my aunt's resurrection service.

my sister Jane coming to visit mom and Beth helping open the door - a job she loves
I got to see another aunt and a cousin I haven't seen in years. We're looking at a huge quilt of Bible story squares.

Here's my uncle Bill from North Carolina

Aunt Emmy and I took a walk around the Bryn Athyn Cathedral.  The grounds are lovely.  I've never seen a tree with red bark before.

This is the church I grew up attending.

Some of the paths in my home town are not suitable for wheelchairs, and some of the roads are narrow.  We got a  police escort on our walk to Jane's house!

He came up behind us and when he understood our difficulty he helped out. He couldn't have been nicer.
