I am almost at the end of posting on this blog about our trip to Israel.
It's been more than 6 months since we were there, and I still thrill to the memories.
On our last day of the trip we took a bus to Bethlehem, and crossed the border into Palestinian territory, passing the separating wall you've heard about. We did manage to skip the tour guide, and found a friendly tourist who pointed us in the right direction for the Church of the Nativity. Here's some of what we saw on the way:

a food cart |
whatever.... |
you can't get there without going through alleys of shops, it seemed |
scrumptious looking |
the beautiful arabic writing reminds you we aren't in Israeli territory |
